This Fund is actively managed and aims to maximise capital growth. The Fund invests mainly in international convertible bonds. A convertible bond can be converted, at the holder’s option, into common stock of the issuing company, at an agreed‐upon price. Therefore, convertible bonds are "hybrid" securities that possess both fixed income and common stock characteristics. The Fund can invest in all types of convertible bonds. Zazove Associates, LLC manages the portfolio for this Fund. All income of the Fund is distributed. Institutional investors can buy and sell shares of the Fund on a daily basis. The first investment must amount to at least 25,000,000.00 pounds sterling.

| Bio | Mr. Hulme serves as co-portfolio manager of the U.S. Balanced Convertible Strategy and portfolio manager for the Global Balanced Strategy. Prior to joining Advent in 2002, Mr. Hulme was a portfolio Manager at Van Eck Global Asset Management, where he co-managed global emerging market equity funds. He previously worked as an investment analyst at Peregrine Asset Management and was a Deputy Manager of the Financial Markets Group at PriceWaterhouse. Mr. Hulme is a graduate of Cambridge University and qualified as an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. Mr. Hulme also qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants, which is the U.K. equivalent of a Certified Public Accountant. |
