Objectives and Investment Policy Investment Objective The objective of the Fund is to maintain a high level of liquidity, preserve capital and provide a return in line with U.S. Dollar money market rates. Investment Policy In order to achieve its investment objective, the Fund invests in a range of investment grade fixed and adjustable rate money market instruments which are transferable securities and primarily denominated in U.S. Dollar. These instruments pay a rate of interest to the Fund. This rate of interest is the Fund's only source of return. The Fund promotes environmental or social characteristics. Investments inlcude issuers deemed to perform better in relation to financially material ESG challenges, avoidance of issuers deemed non-compliant with the Investment Manager's ESG criteria such as violations of UN Global Compact Principles or involvement in controversial weapons and exclusion of issuers involved in thermal coal, arctic drilling, oil and tar sands, tobacco, civilian firearms as well as severe ESG controversies. When selecting investments, the Investment Manager and/or SubInvestment Manager, will adopt a best in class approach to ESG considerations by seeking to invest the majority of the Fund's portfolio in securities that are classified as sustainable investments using the Investment Manager's proprietary assessment methodology and, for government and supra-national issuers, classified within the two highest categories of a third party ESG rating. The specific list of applicable exclusions may evolve and may be amended from time to time at the Investment Manager's and/or SubInvestment Manager's absolute discretion. Such change may be implemented without notice to the Shareholders if deemed aligned with the screen criteria referred to above. The Fund invests in debt securities which are issued by governments, banks, corporations and other financial institutions. The Fund can only invest in securities which have the highest short-term credit ratings. The investment manager conducts in-depth analysis on each investment which the Fund makes and chooses investments it believes can provide liquidity and a stable return until maturity. The Fund is actively managed. The benchmark is used for performance comparison purposes only. The benchmark does not influence the fund's portfolio. The Fund is classified as a Low-Volatility NAV Money Market Fund. The Fund itself is also rated by one or more credit rating agencies (that is, companies that rate the ability of the issuers of debt securities to repay borrowed money). To maintain these highest credit ratings, the Fund's investments are tightly controlled and closely monitored by each agency. The rating is solicited and financed by the Fund. The Class, Premier Shares seek to maintain a stable Net Asset Value per share however this may not be guaranteed. The Fund may use financial derivative instruments (that is, financial contracts whose prices are dependent on one or more underlying assets) in order to manage the portfolio efficiently. Shareholders may redeem shares on any business day other than days on which the relevant financial markets are closed for business in the United States; and any other day at the Directors' discretion (acting reasonably) provided Shareholders are notified in advance of any such days. Any income earned by the Fund will be paid to shareholders in respect of the shares. The Fund's shares are issued in U.S. Dollar. Please refer to the Prospectus for more information.

Bio Todd Bean, CFA, is a Vice President of State Street Global Advisors (“SSGA”) and the Adviser and Head of U.S. Traditional Cash Strategies in the U.S. Cash Management Group within the Global Fixed Income, Cash and Currency Team. He began his career at State Street Corporation in 1999, joining the firm as an analyst in the firm’s custody and accounting area. Following a period on the cash operations staff, Mr. Bean joined the Cash Management Group as a portfolio manager in 2004. He received Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Government from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Science in Finance from Northeastern University. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of CFA Society Boston, Inc.

Bio Sean Lussier is a Vice President of SSGA and SSGA FM and a Senior Portfolio Manager in the North America Cash Management Group within the Global Fixed Income, Cash and Currency Team. He has experience in managing registered taxable and tax-exempt money market funds, as well as US and Canada domiciled separately managed cash and securities lending mandates. He has also been a member of the Global Fixed Income Beta Solutions Group and was responsible for the transition and management of several Canadian Passive Fixed Income strategies. Prior to joining SSGA, Mr. Lussier worked as an Account Manager at State Street Bank &Trust where his primary responsibilities were the custody and accounting operations of the SSGA Money Market and Securities Lending Collateral accounts. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
