Bio "Julian McManus is a Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors. He is responsible for co-managing the Overseas strategy and the Global Alpha Equity strategy, which includes the Global Select products. He also serves as a Research Analyst primarily focused on the Japan-based Consumer and Industrials & Materials sectors. Previously, Julian was Portfolio Manager for an international equity strategy from 2010 to 2017 and assistant portfolio manager on the Global Alpha Equity strategy from 2014 to 2017. Prior to joining Janus as an analyst in 2004, he worked at Everest Capital in Florida, where he managed two Japanese long-short funds. He also spent six years at Lazard Asset Management in Tokyo as a Japanese equity analyst and portfolio manager. Julian received his bachelor of arts degree in Japanese and law from the University of London, where he graduated with honours. He has 25 years of financial industry experience."

Bio Christopher O’Malley is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Alpha Equity Team at Janus Henderson Investors, a role he has held since 2024. He assumed an assistant portfolio management role in 2023 and has been a Research Analyst, primarily focused on European industrials, since joining the firm in 2017 and from 2021 to 2023 served as industrials sector lead. Prior to joining the firm, Christopher was a partner at Castle Light Investment Management, LLC from 2014 until 2015. Before that, he was an equity research analyst at Eaton Vance Management from 2008 until 2013. Earlier, he was vice president, equity research at Putnam from 2001 until 2008. He began his career in 1996 as a junior equity research analyst at Eaton Vance, where he covered data networking and enterprise software industries until 1999. Christopher received his bachelor of arts degree with a concentration in political science and economics from Providence College. He earned an MBA with concentrations in finance, accounting, and general management from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Christopher holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has 26 years of financial industry experience.

Fund objective

Objective The Fund aims to provide capital growth over the long term. Performance target: To outperform the MSCI All Countries World Index by 2.5% per annum, before the deduction of charges, over any 5 year period. Investment policy The Fund invests at least80%of its assets in a portfolio of shares (also known as equities) of companies, of any size, in any industry, in any country. The Fund may also invest in other assets including cash and money market instruments. The Investment Adviser may use derivatives (complex financial instruments) to reduce risk or to manage the Fund more efficiently. The Fund is activelymanaged with reference to theMSCI All CountriesWorld Index, which is broadly representative of the companies in which it may invest, as this forms the basisof the Fund's performance target.TheInvestment Adviser has discretion to choose investments for the Fund with weightings different to the index or not in the index. Asan additionalmeansof assessing the performance of the Fund,the IA Global sector average, which is based on a peer group of broadly similar funds, may also provide a useful comparator.
