Bio Peter Davies joined Brooks Macdonald in 2020 and is a Senior Investment Manager. He works in the Direct Strategies investment team where he focuses on managing fixed income funds and portfolios. He has over 15 years of experience in financial services, including both sales and trading roles at investment banks in London. He has previously worked for Morgan Stanley, KBC, Nomura and most recently for HM Treasury where he was a Senior Dealer at the DMO, responsible for UK gilt issuance and the management of related portfolios. Peter has an MBA from London Business School, an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Adv Dip MA) and holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD).

Bio Akos Dietrich joined Brooks Macdonald in 2015 and is an Investment Director. He has over 12 years' experience as a portfolio manager and heads up the direct strategies team focusing on managing fixed income funds and portfolios. Prior to joining Brooks Macdonald, Akos worked at Lloyds Banking Group in Jersey. Akos is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) charterholder and also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Certificate in ESG Investing. He was named as one of 2020 PAM Top 40 Under 40 rising stars of the private client wealth management working in the UK and UK Crown dependencies.

Fund objective

Investment objective: To provide income that is higher than the level of short term euro interest rates by investing in a diversified portfolio of bonds (which are like loans that can pay a fixed or variable rate of interest). The bonds can be issued by companies and governments. They will be priced mainly in euro and can be of any credit quality. The Fund may also hold cash from time to time. Investment policy: For full investment objectives and policy details please refer to the prospectus. Other information: Any income the Fund generates will be used to buy additional shares in the Fund for you or, if requested, can be paid to your bank account (subject to a €100 minimum). You can buy and sell shares on any working day in Jersey, between 9am and 5pm. Recommendation: This fund may not be appropriate for investors who plan to withdraw their money within five years.
