ECSC announces new webinar events for Q1 2021
ECSC Group plc (AIM: ECSC), the UK's longest running cyber security provider, announces two new monthly webinar events hosted by its Chief Executive Officer, Ian Mann, starting this month. These events follow the success of the Company's 2020 webinars.
'How To Establish a Cyber Security Team' will take place on 20 January 2021 between 10:00am and 11:00am and is designed for smaller organisations trying to establish a new internal cyber security function for the first time or trying to maximise results from limited internal resources in this critical area.
The event will focus on understanding the main ways in which smaller organisations get hacked, what key activities these organisations can complete daily to minimise risk, and where companies might consider limited outsourcing.
'Cyber Security: Critical Lessons from 2020' will take place on the same day between 11.30am and 12.30pm and will focus on what companies need to learn from the major cyber security breaches that have occurred in the last year and how these lessons are relevant to organisations of all sizes.
The event focuses on how each breach could have been prevented and what failings are critical in leading to the multi-million-pound fines being imposed by the Information Commissioner's Office.

Ian Mann, Chief Executive Officer of ECSC, commented:
"We are very pleased to be introducing two new monthly webinar events which play a vital role in both educating our existing clients and partners, and also generating new sales opportunities. We typically attract 60% attendees from new prospects, and each attendee is followed up by our marketing team to explore ways in which we can help that organisation with their cyber security concerns.
"Moving to monthly video webinars in 2020 to replace the previous quarterly face-to-face events has proved both cost-effective and expanded our reach with a larger audience. Attendee feedback has been very positive and our attendee numbers have increased significantly."
