AGM - Change of format
Robinson Plc ("Robinson" or the "Company") today would like to inform shareholders of a change to the format of the Robinson Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for 24 June 2021 at 11:30am.
Due to the delay in the scheduled relaxation of the current Covid-19 restrictions and the removal by the UK Government of all legal limits on social contact, the AGM this year will now be held as a closed meeting. The format of the meeting, therefore, will now be purely functional, involving only the required number of attendees in person to allow the meeting to be quorate and take place in accordance with our articles of association and legal requirements.
The Board recognises the need to engage with shareholders and all are invited to send any questions and to listen to the meeting by video conference. Should you wish to join the meeting, please email agm@robinsonpackaging.com with the words "Video Conference" in the subject line. Shareholders will then be provided with an invitation to join.
Shareholders may also ask questions regarding the business of the AGM in advance by emailing agm@robinsonpackaging.com. Where possible, answers to these questions will be provided at the meeting.
All voting will be decided by way of a poll, rather than on a show of hands, so that the votes of shareholders who cannot attend in person will be counted. The Company would therefore encourage all shareholders to submit proxy forms in advance and would strongly advise all to appoint the "Chairman of the Meeting" as their proxy rather than a named person who will not be permitted to attend the meeting. Please note, to be valid, all forms of proxy must be deposited at the Registered Office of the Company not less than 48 hours before the time of the meeting.
The Company regrets that the current situation has led to this late change in format and will endeavour to arrange events that provide the opportunity for shareholders to meet with the Directors and Senior Management when Covid-19 restrictions allow.
A letter detailing the above will today be sent to shareholders and is also available on the Company's website.
