Transaction in Own Shares - Corrections

Softline Holding Plc (SFTL) would like to announce the following corrections to the Transaction in Own Shares, pursuant to its Share Buyback Programme, as previously announced.

 

·     On 31 January 2022, within announcement 'Transaction in Own Shares' - RNS Number: 1893A, it was announced that the Company had purchased a total of 278,591 Global Depository Receipts between 24 January 2022 and 28 January 2022. It states that on 26 January 2022, the Company purchased 49,201 Global Depository Receipts on the Moscow Stock Exchange. Due to a broker clerical error, this figure should have been reported as 49,210. The correct total aggregated daily volume for this period was 278,600.

 

·     On 21 February 2022, within announcement 'Transaction in Own Shares' - RNS Number: 3369C, it was announced that the Company had purchased a total of 119,240 Global Depository Receipts between 14 February 2022 and 18 February 2022. It states that on 14 February 2022, the Company purchased 7,937 Global Depository Receipts on the London Stock Exchange. Due to a broker clerical error, this figure should have been reported as 7,973. The correct total aggregated daily volume for this period was 119,276.

 

·     On 28 February 2022, within announcement 'Transaction in Own Shares' - RNS Number: 0768D, it was announced that the Company had purchased a total of 104,187 shares between 21 February and 25 February 2022. The Company has now been informed that one of its brokers was unable to settle 4,481 Global Depository Receipts on the London Stock Exchange on 23 February 2022. The deals and the funds were returned to the reserve account. The correct total aggregated daily volumes for this period was 99,706.

 

·    On 7 March 2022, within announcement 'Transaction in Own Shares' - RNS Number: 9273D, it was announced that the Company had purchased a total of 11,606 shares between 28 February 2022 and 4 March 2022. The Company has now been informed that one of its brokers was unable to settle 6,250 Global Depository Receipts on the London Stock Exchange on 3 March 2022. The deals and the funds were returned to the reserve account. The correct total aggregated daily volumes for this period was 5,356.

 

 

As a result of the above corrections, the Company currently holds 1,212,625 Global Depositary Receipts in Treasury.
