Board Changes, Change of Company Secretary and Results of AGM
Following the AGM held today, Peel Hunt provides the following updates:
Board Changes
The Company is pleased to announce that Lucinda Riches has been appointed as Chair effective immediately. Lucinda replaces Simon Hayes, who has stepped down from the Board after nearly thirty years with Peel Hunt, serving as CEO from 2006 and Chair from 2016. The Board would like to thank Simon for his stewardship and the significant role he has played in the success of the business over the years.
Commenting on her new role, Lucinda Riches said:
"I'm delighted to be taking over as Chair and leading the Company in its next phase of growth. Having worked closely with the Board since my appointment, I look forward to crystallising our strategic plan and realising our future opportunities. I am grateful for Simon's knowledge and insight of the business which has been invaluable during our transition."
Simon Hayes, departing as Chair, said:
"It has been a privilege to spend nearly thirty years with Peel Hunt and I am proud of what has been achieved. Having worked closely with Lucinda over the last year, I know that, under her leadership, the Company is in excellent hands and that there is still so much more to come.
I wish everyone at Peel Hunt every success and look forward to seeing their strategic ambitions come to fruition."
Steven Fine, Chief Executive of Peel Hunt, said:

Appointment of Company Secretary
The Company is pleased to further announce the appointment of our General Counsel, Michael Lee as Company Secretary with immediate effect. Consequently, Sunil Dhall, Chief Financial & Operating Officer and Company Secretary has relinquished his role as Company Secretary.
