Director Appointment
Various Eateries PLC, the owner, developer and operator of all day club, restaurant and hotel sites in the United Kingdom, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Darwent to the board as director with immediate effect.
As previously announced, Oli Williams steps down today from his role as CFO and director of the Company, being replaced by James as CFO on an interim basis. James has been working alongside Oli since joining the Company on 26 September 2022 to ensure a smooth transition.
James has over 15 years' experience working in private equity backed businesses and has previously held roles at Big Table Group and Casual Dining Group as Finance Director (non-board positions). Prior to this, he held the role of Global Head of Finance at All Saints Retail Limited. James qualified as a Certified Accountant at Pannell Kerr Forster, now BDO, in 1992.
James Darwent, aged 56, holds, or has during the last five years held, the following directorships and partnerships:
