Non-Executive Director Changes

 

Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust (the 'Company') announces the appointment of Alexandra ('Ali') Innes as an independent Non-executive Director, with effect from 16 November 2022.  Alexandra will chair the management engagement committee and will also be a member of the audit and nomination committees.

 

Alexandra is a member of the Group Executive Board at Knight Frank LLP, a Non-executive Committee Member at the Bank of England, and a Non-executive Director of Securities Trust of Scotland PLC.  Alexandra is also a Non-executive Director of Facilities by ADF plc, the UCI Cycling World Championships Ltd, and previously served on the board of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships) Ltd and the AELT Ground plc.

 

Alexandra's executive career spanned investment banking, global capital markets, and investment management, most latterly as Managing Director, Barclays plc, and prior to that as Director of Global Capital Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. 

 

Alexandra holds an M.A. Hons Economics from Cambridge University, and is a Fellow of Chapter Zero.  She is a Green and Sustainable Finance Professional, Chartered Banking Institute (CCBI GSFP), a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (Chartered MCSI), and holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG investing.

 

It is confirmed that there are no other details to be disclosed concerning the appointment under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R.


The Company also announces that Graham Basham will retire as a director of the Company with effect from 15 November 2022.  Graham has made a significant contribution to Company since joining the Board in September 2015, notably on matters relating to the Company's structure and administration.  Graham will continue as a director of the Company's subsidiaries until 31 December 2022.
