Announcement on Electricity Generation in 2022
The board of directors and all directors of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (the "Company") warrant that there are no false representations and misleading statements contained in, or material omissions from, this announcement, and severally and jointly accept the responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the contents of this announcement.
According to the preliminary statistics of the Company, the gross electricity generation of the Company's domestic cascade hydropower projects in 2022 was approximately 185,581 GWh, representing a year-on-year decrease of 10.92%. The decrease of electricity generation influenced by such factors as the serious shortage of water inflow from the Yangtze River and the water storage of new upstream power stations.
Among them, the Three Gorges Project generated 78,790 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 23.98%; Gezhouba Project generated 17,434 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 9.46%; Xiluodu Project generated 57,804 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 4.42%; and Xiangjiaba Project generated 31,553 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 4.96%.
