Operations Update

BlueRock Diamonds Plc (BRD), the AIM listed diamond producer, which owns and operates the Kareevlei Diamond Mine ('Kareevlei') in the Kimberley region of South Africa, announces an update on operational activity.

Further to the announcement dated 23 January 2023 and following discussions with the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (the 'DMRE'), operations at Kareevlei recommenced on 25 January 2023.

There was no disruption to operations when the plant restarted as there was sufficient stock on the ore stockpile and ROM pad. The major remedial action was the installation of a fire retardent conveyor belt and activation of proximity distance sensors on plant at the mining operation.
