Dominic Appleton appointed CFO Designate

N Brown Group Plc (the "Group"), a top 10 UK clothing and footwear digital retailer, announces that Dominic Appleton will be joining the Group as Chief Financial Officer Designate on 1 March 2023.  Dominic will succeed Rachel Izzard as Chief Financial Officer and a Board Director when Rachel steps down. Rachel will work with Steve Johnson, Group Chief Executive Officer, and the Board, to ensure an orderly handover to Dominic. It is currently envisaged that Rachel will leave the business, and that Dominic will join the Board, following the completion of the FY23 Annual Report and Accounts at the end of May.

Dominic is an experienced finance professional having spent a total of 10 years at The Very Group (previously Shop Direct), most recently as Group Finance Director. He has previously held Chief Financial Officer roles at online bathroom retailer, VictoriaPlum.com, and leading footwear brand, Hotter Shoes. Prior to this he worked in senior finance roles at SSL International and Procter & Gamble, having begun his career at KPMG where he qualified as a chartered accountant.

Regulatory disclosures

Peter Dominic Appleton, aged 50, currently has no shareholding in the Group. There is no further information required to be disclosed in respect of the above appointment pursuant to Rule 17 and Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.

The appointment of Dominic Appleton to the Board is subject to FCA approval and a further update will be provided in due course.
