Inland Homes signs Self Remediation Contract
On 30 January 2023 the Rt Hon Michael Gove (Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities) announced the publishing of the self remediation terms (the 'Self Remediation Contract') which follows on from the signing of the Fire Safety Pledge last year by developers, including Inland Homes, and provided for the remediation of life critical fire safety issues in high rise buildings.
Inland Homes announces that it has signed the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities ('DLUHC') Self Remediation Contract ('the Contract') on behalf of the Group and all of its subsidiary companies.
The Contract details the commitment given in the Building Safety Pledge to address life‐critical fire safety issues on all buildings of 11 metres and above in England developed by the Group in the 30 years prior to 5 April 2022, and to reimburse any funds disbursed by the Government's Building Safety Fund for buildings we have developed.
