INTERIM CFO APPOINTMENT
Narf Industries plc ("Narf", the "Company", or the "Group"), (LSE: 'NARF')(OTCQB: NFIN.F) the cybersecurity group specializing in high-end threat intelligence and critical infrastructure security is pleased to announce the appointment of John Thompson as interim Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of the Group.
Role
John is a US based CPA having started his career 30 years ago in Audit at Ernst & Young. He then served as CFO for a number of US based multinationals, the last of which being i2, a software company serving government agencies primarily in the US and UK. John then returned to Audit to run the Audit Division for a US based CPA firm. He currently works as an advisor to fast growth companies on structuring their accounting and finance functions.
John's immediate focus will be helping the team on the completion of the Group's FY22 audit and over the course of the year work to organize the Group's accounting and finance team.
Steve Bassi, CEO said: "John brings both CPA and USG customer experience to help accelerate audit completion and implement go forward processes to negate future disruptions. He's an immediate resource our team can rely on during this transition period as we work to build our Executive team over the coming months."
