Exercise of Options

and

Total Voting Rights

 

The Artisanal Spirits Company (AIM: ART), the owner of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society ("SMWS"), the leading curator and provider of premium single cask Scotch malt whisky and other spirits for sale primarily online to a discerning global membership, announces that it has issued and allotted 165,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of options by an employee of the Company.

 

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 165,000 New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission") and it is expected that Admission will become effective and trading will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 27 June 2022.

 

The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing ordinary shares.

 

Total Voting Rights

 

The Company advises that, following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will be  70,096,774  Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 70,096,774.

 

The above figure of 70,096,774 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
