Non-Executive Director Appointment
Cranswick plc announces the appointment of Rachel Howarth as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 30 April 2024.
Rachel is the Group People Officer at Whitbread plc, which is the owner of Premier Inn, the UK's biggest hotel brand employing over 39,000 people in over 1,700 Premier Inn hotels and restaurants across the UK. Rachel was previously the Group HR Director with SSP Group PLC, before which she spent sixteen years with Tesco Plc, in operational and human resource capacities and has also served as an officer in the Royal Air Force, specialising in logistics and supply chain.
On appointment, Rachel will become a member of the Remuneration, Nomination and ESG committees. It is intended that Rachel will succeed Liz Barber as Chair of the Remuneration Committee in August, following conclusion of the scheduled review of the Company's Directors' Remuneration Policy.
No information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to Rachel Howarth's appointment as a non-executive director of the Company.
