Notice of the Death of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director
It is with great sadness Capital Limited announces today that David Abery, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, has passed away suddenly. Mr Abery served as a member of the Board since October 2017 and was Chair of Audit & Risk and Nomination Committees.
Commenting, Jamie Boyton, Executive Chair of the Company, said: "It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of our fellow Board member David Abery. David was a highly respected and integral member of our Board and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. Our thoughts and condolences are with David's family and loved ones during this very difficult time."
Michael Rawlinson, Independent Non-Executive Director, will assume the role of Interim Senior Independent Director. Further Board changes will be announced in due course.
The announcement is made in accordance with Rule 9.6.11 of the London Stock Exchange's Listing Rules.
