Resignation of Director
Merit Group plc (AIM: MRIT), the data and intelligence business, announces the resignation of its Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director, Merit Data & Technology, Cornelius Conlon, who has informed the Board that he does not propose to stand for re-election at the next AGM in September 2025. Con will continue in his role and remain on the Board until then to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities to his successor.
Mark Smith, Chairman of Merit Group plc, said;
"Having joined the Merit Data & Technology business in 2004, and joined the Group as part of its acquisition in 2019, we thank Con for championing the business, its capabilities and culture over the last 20 years and wish him well for the future."
