TBC Bank to Propose the Appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the New Auditor
TBC Bank Group PLC ("TBC PLC") announces its intention to appoint Ernst & Young LLP ("EY") as its auditor for the financial year starting 1 January 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
This follows an extensive competitive tender process, which was overseen by TBC PLC's Audit Committee. As a result of this process, the selection of EY was recommended, which has been approved by the TBC PLC Board. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC"), TBC PLC's current external auditor, will continue in its role and will undertake the audit of the TBC Group and TBC PLC for the financial years ending 31 December 2024 and 2025. The appointment of EY for the financial year starting from 1 January 2026 will be recommended to TBC PLC's shareholders for approval at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.
