Haydale Achieves CE Certification
Haydale Announces CE Certification of Graphene-Based "JustHeat" Heating System, Paving the Way for Commercial Rollout.
Haydale Graphene Industries plc (AIM: HAYD), the advanced materials group, is pleased to announce that its JustHeat graphene-based heating system has successfully achieved CE marking certification, confirming compliance with stringent European safety and environmental standards.
This milestone certification enables JustHeat to be legally marketed and installed across the UK and European Economic Area (EEA) in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings - supporting the transition to efficient, electric low-carbon heating solutions.
About JustHeat
Haydale's next-generation direct heating system, powered by patented HDPlas® functionalised graphene, is designed for maximum efficiency, affordability, and ease of installation. This low-voltage, energy-efficient solution offers a superior alternative to traditional heating systems, reducing energy consumption, and supporting Net Zero goals.
Initial performance data from controlled trials and third-party testing indicates that the JustHeat direct heating system delivers up to 75% energy cost savings and up to 90% lower carbon emissions when compared to conventional heating methods such as gas boilers, air source heat pumps, and traditional electric or wet underfloor heating systems.
The Company has today also published its own White Paper regarding the case for graphene-based heating, presenting a detailed technical, economic, and environmental assessment of the Haydale high performance, graphene-based heating system, JustHeat. This White Paper will be made available at www.haydale.com/whitepaper.
Next Steps
The Company is progressing discussions with housing developers, social landlords, retrofit contractors, hotel owners, office developers and distributors. The first UK mainland commercial installations took place last week and the company is already seeing considerable interest in this innovative new product.
Commenting on the regulatory approval, Simon Turek, Chief Executive Officer of Haydale, said:
"Securing CE certification for JustHeat is a major technical and commercial milestone. It confirms that our graphene-based heating system meets the highest European and UK safety standards. This approval allows us to accelerate commercial rollout and positions JustHeat as a low-carbon alternative to gas boilers, heat pumps and traditional electric or wet underfloor heating systems in new builds and retrofit projects."
"With growing demand for sustainable heating solutions, JustHeat represents a significant commercial opportunity for Haydale as we expand into the energy transition and smart building markets."
