Wind Sector Leaders Join New Advisory Board

Windar Photonics plc (AIM:WPHO), the technology group that has developed a LiDAR assisted Monitoring and Optimisation solution across multiple wind turbine platforms, is pleased to announce the establishment of a new external advisory board, comprising three distinguished experts from the wind energy industry (the "Advisory Board").

The advisory board has been formed to provide both commercial and technical guidance on the future development of the Company's products and services. The Advisory Board will bring a broad range of competences, technical experience and detailed knowledge from across the industry during a key period of accelerated growth for the Company.

The Advisory Board will convene quarterly to review the Company's progress and provide key strategic input to support Windar's continued development.

Jørgen Korsgaard Jensen, founder and CEO of Windar Photonics, said:

The inaugural members of the Advisory Board are:

Tove Feld, Chair of the Board
Tove Feld is an experienced Chair and Non-Executive Director with 30+ years in global energy and infrastructure. A former senior executive at Ørsted, Siemens Gamesa, and DNV, she has led strategic transformation and innovation across renewables. Tove currently serves on multiple boards including Cloudberry Clean Energy (Chair), TRIG (SID), and Yara International. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Aalborg University and an Executive MBA from IMD.

Bo Birkemose, Member of the Board
Bo Birkemose is the COO of Stiesdal Storage Technology, with extensive experience in driving strategic growth and organisational transformation. Formerly CEO of FRECON A/S, Bo successfully repositioned the company for long-term profitability. At Siemens Wind Power, he held key leadership roles, including Head of Onshore Solution, where he transformed business strategy and led product development initiatives. Bo holds an Executive MBA in Change Management and Leadership from Aarhus University.

Carsten Westergaard, Member of the Board
Carsten Westergaard is the founder and CTO of Aeromine Technologies, Inc., and the owner of Westergaard Solutions Inc. Carsten holds a PhD from DTU, and with over 70 international publications and 23+ patents, Carsten is a recognised expert in wind energy and turbine technologies. He also serves as Senior Advisor at Sandia National Laboratories and has held leadership roles at Vestas and LM Wind Power. His work spans research, technology development, and business strategy, focusing on optimising wind farm performance and reliability.
