Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Margaret Amos joins Invinity as Chair of the Audit Committee
Invinity Energy Systems plc (AIM: IES) (OTCQX: IESVF), a leading global manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Margaret Amos as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chair of the Audit Committee on the Board of Invinity with immediate effect.
An experienced Non-Executive Director having held Senior Independent Non-Executive, Audit, Remuneration and ESG Chair positions across a wide range of sectors, Dr. Amos brings over 27 years' financial, commercial and executive experience in fast-growing manufacturing and technology companies and over 10 years' non-executive board experience with global FTSE 250 companies including Hunting plc, Volution plc and Tyman plc.
Margaret spent the majority of her career at Rolls-Royce plc, serving as Senior Finance Business Partner, Aerospace and subsequently as Finance Director, Corporate, IT and Engineering before retiring in 2017. She holds a Doctorate in Professional Practice, a Masters in Global Supply Chain Management (with distinction) and is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
As announced in the recently published 2024 Annual Report, Michael Farrow has given notice to the Board of Invinity of his intention to retire at the next Annual General Meeting.
