Completion of Citi Trust acquisition
Further to its announcement on 16 September 2024 and following receipt of all applicable change of control and regulatory approvals, JTC, a global leader in professional services, is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of the global fiduciary and trust administration services business from Citigroup Inc. for a total consideration of $80 million (the "Acquisition").
The Acquisition, which has been financed through existing cash reserves and committed debt facilities, is highly complementary to JTC's existing footprint, bolstering several of the Group's key growth jurisdictions. It will cement JTC's position as the leading independent provider of global trust services and bring further resilient annuity driven revenue to the Group.
