Chill Brands Group plc
("Chill Brands" or the "Company")
Change of Accounting Reference Date
Chill Brands, the consumer packaged-goods distribution company, announces a change to its accounting reference date ("ARD") and financial year end from 31 March to 30 September, with immediate effect.
The new ARD has been adopted to better align the Company's reporting cycle with its current operational priorities and to ensure ongoing compliance with the requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority's UK Listing Rules and Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules ("DTR"). This decision follows the recent completion of the Company's audit for the year ended 31 March 2024, which was subject to significant delays due to the circumstances surrounding the significant corporate disruption that affected the Company during 2024.
By moving the ARD to 30 September, the Board intends to provide Chill Brands with a clean break from the disrupted previous cycle, allowing management to concentrate on executing the Company's commercial plans while also ensuring that future financial reporting obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
As a result of the change to its ARD, Chill Brands Group plc will now prepare audited financial statements for an 18-month period ending 30 September 2025. In accordance with the requirements of the DTR, the Company must publish its audited accounts for this period by no later than 31 January 2026.
As a result of the change in the accounting reference date, Chill Brands will publish a second set of unaudited interim financial results for the 12-month period ended 31 March 2025. This report is expected to be published on or before 31 July 2025.
