AEG Secures Three Initial Renewable Energy Sites

Active Energy Group Plc (AIM: AEG), the renewable energy and clean technology company, is pleased to announce the signing of its first three renewable energy projects, working alongside its solar and battery advisor, Bryan Glendinning.

Key Highlights

·      Signing of three renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of c.350kW.

·      Projects expected to generate approximately £1.5 million in revenues over their lifetime.

·      Anticipated payback period of c.8 years.

·      Represents the first projects within an initial 10-site pipeline of c.2.5 MW capacity and c.£10 million contracted revenues.

Together, these projects represent c.350 kW of renewable generation capacity, expected to deliver approximately £1.5 million of revenue over their contracted terms. With build-out costs aligned to AEG's financial model, the projects are forecast to generate a payback period of c.8 years, with long-term, inflation-linked income streams thereafter.

Strategic Importance

These projects mark the first phase of AEG's initial 10-site pipeline, which represents a combined c.2.3 MW of capacity and revenues more than £10 million under long-term Power Purchase Agreements ("PPAs").

The Company is at an advanced stage in finalising lease agreements and PPAs across the remainder of the pipeline, with further announcements expected in due course. Together, these projects provide a strong foundation for scaling AEG's renewable energy portfolio, which is supported by a broader identified pipeline of more than 30 MW of rooftop, ground-mounted, and battery storage opportunities.

Bryan Glendinning, Solar and Battery Advisor to AEG, commented:

"The signing of these first three sites is an exciting milestone for AEG, delivering strong long-term contracted revenues and validating our development model. These projects show the opportunities available to scale this business rapidly.

Having been involved in the renewable energy industry for many years, I have overseen the successful identification, development, and delivery of numerous solar and battery projects across the UK. That experience gives me great confidence in AEG's strategy and our ability to execute at scale.

With a 10-site pipeline already identified and over 30 MW of opportunities behind that, AEG is positioning itself to become a meaningful player in the renewable energy sector. I look forward to working with the team to deliver further projects and build a substantial, income-generating portfolio for the Company and its shareholders."
