Whistleblower investigation concludes with no findings of unlawful conduct
GPE confirms that it received notice of a number of allegations from a whistleblower.
The Non-Executive Directors of GPE have overseen an impartial investigation into the allegations conducted by an independent law firm supported by an independent forensic accounting firm.
The investigation concluded that historical bonuses were correctly calculated.
Allegations of unlawful conduct by GPE were not substantiated.
As part of the investigation, GPE's new Chair offered the opportunity to all colleagues to meet with the independent law firm and share their perspectives on the culture of the business.
The investigation confirmed strong support for GPE's positive culture and highlighted some areas for improvement consistent with GPE's continuing commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive workplace. These are being addressed by management with oversight from the Board.
