Novar PLC 04 April 2005 4 April 2005 NOVAR PLC DE-LISTING APPLICATION FOR NOVAR ORDINARY AND PREFERENCE SHARES; REDEMPTION AND DE-LISTING OF NOVAR B SHARES De-listing application in respect of Novar ordinary and preference shares Application has been made by Novar to the UK Listing Authority for the cancellation of the listing of ordinary shares and preference shares on the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of the admission to trading of ordinary shares and preference shares in Novar on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities. Cancellation is expected to take effect in each case on 29 April 2005, being not less than 20 business days following the date of the announcement made by Honeywell on 31 March 2005 of its intention to procure such application by Novar. Redemption and de-listing application in respect of Novar "B" shares Notice is given that notification relating to the redemption by Novar on 20 May 2005 of all "B" Shares of 100 pence each (""B" Shares") in Novar was despatched today to all holders of "B" Shares. Notice is also given that Novar has applied to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of the listing and admission to trading of "B" Shares. It is anticipated that the cancellation of listing and trading will take effect no earlier than 20 business days after the date of this announcement. Accordingly, it is expected that such cancellation will take effect on 3 May 2005, or as soon as practicable thereafter, but prior to the date of redemption of the "B" Shares. A copy of the notification relating to the redemption and de-listing in respect of the "B" Shares has been submitted for publication through the Document Viewing Facility of the UK Listing Authority.
