Churchill Mining plc 27 April 2005 Exploration update The Directors of Churchill Mining PLC ("Churchill) are pleased to update shareholders on the Company's progress since it listed on the 15th April, 2005. Churchill's geological team has now completed preliminary work on the Company's South Woodie-Woodie project and: 1) Identified a substantial extension to the initial target manganese anomaly, which increases the known strike length from 700 metres to in excess of 1.5 kilometres, at least doubling the initial target identified in the studies reported by ANZECO. The newly identified extension has similar characteristics to the already known anomaly described in the Company's Admission Document dated 11 April 2005. 2) Identified at surface an additional manganese anomaly of at least 300 metres in length not previously known. 3) Completed pre-drilling soil and rock sampling over the primary target area and newly identified manganese anomaly, with a total of 125 samples taken which will be processed by independent laboratories in Perth, Western Australia. Results are expected within 2-3 weeks. 4) Conducted further regional mapping in the area, which shall be combined with aerial and satellite photo interpretation as part of a regional study to locate further potential manganese targets.
