Ramco Energy PLC 22 June 2005 22 June 2005 RAMCO ENERGY PLC BOARD CHANGES Ramco is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Malcolm Hay as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 22 June 2005. Malcolm (aged 49) has spent over 20 years in investment banking, holding senior positions with Orion Royal Bank and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB). Between 1985 and 2001 he was a director at CSFB where he led Canadian, Australian and UK capital markets teams. Currently, he is an associate with investment managers McInroy & Wood. Malcolm was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge. A full list of his other directorships is provided below. He holds no shares in Ramco. Malcolm will become Chairman of the Company's Audit and Remuneration Committees. Dan Stover, Chief Operating Officer, has resigned from the Board effective 21 June 2005. The Board has also agreed to split the roles of Chairman and Chief Executive both currently held by Steve Remp and has appointed Steven Bertram, currently Group Financial Director as Managing Director of Ramco Energy plc.
