Churchill Mining plc 19 July 2005 Churchill Mining Plc increases target count at South Woodie Woodie HIGHLIGHTS: •Churchill has completed its regional review of the South Woodie Woodie manganese project and dramatically increased the number of targets from 7 to 34. •A second program of pre-drilling field work to prioritise these new targets will commence immediately. Churchill Mining Plc is pleased to announce that it has completed its Regional Targeting Study and lifted the total number of manganese anomalies and structural/lithological targets from 7 to 34. Work by Perth-based geological consultancy group Ravensgate Pty Ltd has confirmed that Churchill's ground is prospective both to the north and south of Enacheddong Creek prospect which was discovered by ANZECO in 1977. Enacheddong Creek is located approximately in the middle of Churchill's 490 square kilometre ground position in the East Pilbara District of Western Australia and this original target has already been extended from 700 metres to more than 1500 metres during the first field work programme this year. Ravensgate generated the new targets utilising geophysical and remote sensing data, aerial photography and field mapping. Churchill will now conduct further field mapping and sampling to prioritise the targets prior to the drilling programme.
