Churchill Mining plc 14 September 2005 September 14, 2005 Churchill Mining Plc selects priority targets for drilling at South Woodie Woodie HIGHLIGHTS: •High priority drill targets now selected as further sampling continues to reveal encouraging manganese grades. (See associated map on www.churchillmining.com) • All tenements at Churchill Mining's South Woodie Woodie project have now been granted under the Native Title process Churchill Mining Plc is pleased to announce that Perth-based geological consultancy Ravensgate Pty Ltd has discovered four new priority manganese targets at Churchill's South Woodie Woodie manganese project following further exploration work. Churchill Mining recently collected an additional 101 rock chip, gravel and soil samples from 15 target areas predominantly in the northern part of its project area. Of these, three (Disraeli North, Disraeli South and Baldwin) returned best grades of 54.6% Mn, 56% Mn and 39% Mn respectively. Other prospects, including the Wilson prospect, returned anomalous Mn to 23%, while several others yielded low grade, but anomalous Mn. Ravensgate believes the Disraeli area in particular is a priority target given that it lies proximal to outcropping dolomite that is intersected by regionally prospective fault zones. The two sampled prospects Disraeli North and South are located approximately 1.1km apart. The sampling program in the northern part of South Woodie Woodie compliments work done in May and June of this year which extended the strike length of the 1977 discovery made by ANZECO at Enacheddong Creek and highlighted the multi-target potential of the project area. As all tenements have now been granted by the relevant authorities, Churchill has initiated Heritage Surveys with the Native Title Claimants to allow access to priority target areas for the purposes of drilling and other ground disturbing activities. The company is scheduled to engage in another round of field work in approximately 10 days. The company's Regional Targeting Study (completed in July) has identified seven structural/lithological targets in the southern portion of the project area that require follow-up work.
